I may be nitpicking but for the price.. I find that the closeup shows the 3 rings on the cap and adjacent acrylic aren't aligned perfectly.. And the pen being a piston filler should have had a dodecagon side transition to a round Knob.. Or over time it's going to get misaligned as well. Hopefully a 2.0 will make something similar to what cleo scribent did with its 11 sided pen PS... Is the nib in house?

A beautiful pen. I'm drawn to the swirls and colors. I didn't relate the colors as pertaining to lava rock and the water, until you showed the photos. Then I realized that the designer perfectly envisioned this pen.

a new one with a no. 8 nib will run you over 850 dollars in europe. 700 usd is not that bad if you do not pay additional fees and/or taxes over there in the US

I like the new model very much. The #8 nib is stunning. I do wish there was a #8 steel nib.

Beautiful pen - both dramatic and classy. I also appreciate the rings bookending the ink window. For me, #8 nibs are a bit too large, so it’s nice that it comes with an option for a smaller nib. The markings on the nib as to the pen’s aesthetic. Thank you for showing us another beautiful pen.

The Parker Duofold is truly a beautiful fountain pen, especially considering the era in which it was originally manufactured. I love its ingenious original ink filling system, far superior to several current systems.

I am glad to see the Visconti model reappear. Aside from the Wall Street and the Titanic, it is perhaps my favorite model. I understand the price, certainly. I have had issues with the steel nib. Coles of London responded very quickly. My favorite nib has to be the tubular nib. It is a pity it has not made a return back into production. Unfortunately i cannot afford your limited edition but i will look for other models. A great pen. Should it have an ink window? Perhaps but many vacuum filler pens did not have a window. My Leonardo Momento Zero Grande does not and is a great pen. Best of luck with your collaboration, David.

Visconti pens are so unreliable and poor quality. Never again. My pen was leaky and scratchy. The Company refused to acknowledge and address the problem. I sold my pen for a huge loss on Ebay because it was unusable for me. The lack of ink Window is a glaring omission to cut costs, in spite of the high price. Yet Figboot doesn't mention his customary "I'll tell you what I care for and DON'T CARE ABOUT". The high price, lack of a window, past unreliability and lack of customer care should all have been listed. BUYER BEWARE.

It's gorgeous, from the color to the overall design of the shape. I do like a resin section. This is a beautiful limited edition.

Love this resin and the band truly accentuates it perfectly. I was really engaged until the nib sizes were revealed, no EF again! Those of us that write small in cursive need that extra fine point and many pen makers are missing out on this market.

Wow Dave! I think this is you best collaborations yet. Unfortunately I just ordered an Omas bologna last week and will unfortunately have to miss out on this one. You have a problem now.
